NEC One Magazine
Kazoom was commissioned by NEC, one of the world's leading IT manufacturers, to develop a quarterly internal magazine.
NEC One magazine acted as one of the key tools for developing team spirit and promoting communication within all teams in NEC UK, its affiliates and subsidiaries.
With NEC One magazine, Kazoom produced a compelling design with content that successfully delivered consistent messaging to all NEC UK employees in an engaging way. It shared knowledge about company developments, direction and vision, and included news about what employees did socially and for charitable causes.
The magazine combined elegant design and high-quality production values with accessible content that was enthusiastically received by NEC employees.
The results
Before One magazine NEC UK didn't have an internal communcation tool so it was essential that it was successful. Therefore, we put measurables in place to test the reaction to the magazine. Regular staff feedback through quarterly employee surveys and emails showed that One had resulted in improved motivation within the company and a feeling of working for a company who cared about its employees.
Ultimately, the magazine was so well received that it was distributed across Europe and to NEC HQ in Japan as a case study for how other countries could use internal communication successfully.
