THUS Connect Newsletter


Kazoom was brought in by THUS plc, a telecoms company, to help develop its email marketing strategy and produce publications that would have ROI associated with them.

THUS realised it had not been communicating with its customers on a regular basis and this failing needed to be addressed as a matter of urgency in order to retain and widen its customer base.

Connect was a monthly newsletter targeted at THUS' corporate and public sector customers. Its aim was to build customer loyalty, raise awareness and educate the customer base about the features and benefits THUS' products and services offered, but without the hard sell.

We adopted a thought-leadership approach. Each month we produced a series of articles about the telecoms sector and advised the audience about factors that influenced their buying processes.

Kazoom offered a full service, being responsible for the design, all content generation and managing the CMS. We liaised closely with the client to ensure that the newsletter went out on time.

The results

Connect was an effective marketing tool to support the sales team in educating and influencing new and current customers. Although the email database was small, as the company was targeting large organisations, the email database grew by 15% year on year with the ROI an impressive 1:40.

Kazoom retained its contract year after year.
